My name is Scott Curtis. I am a graphic designer living in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I got the idea for this website while watching an episode of the show OverHaulin one evening a couple of years ago. it really bothered me that in order to have your car restored by this or any other show like it you had to:

1 Already be independently wealthy (or else why would you live within a 90 mile radius of Foose Designs or the OverHaulin studios in beautiful Burbank, California).

2 Be a personal friend of someone famous like Jay Leno who is obviously connected with the show.

3 Win the car rebuild lottery or have the kind of luck that most of us will never have.

First off, I think Chip Foose is a solid guy and I have been a huge fan of his for many years. I greatly admire his illustration and fabrication skills. But, If you are like me, what average Joe has either the time or the money to restore a ride like we've all seen on television. I know I don't.

Idrawyourcar.com is an innovative website born out of the idea of giving the average car and truck enthusiasts the ability to concept their dream ride afford-ably. Perhaps you have a 57 Chevy sitting in the garage or 53 F100 that you plan to get to someday. Whatever your project, for a reasonable price, I want to be able to give the average guy the ability to envision his/her project before you build it. Just like with the big builders, having a concept illustration of your some-day finished product will give anyone the drive and motivation to get their wheels on the road (or at least start moving in that direction).

Inspired by watching the illustrators and master builders like Chip Foose, Boyd Coddington, Jesse James and many, many others I thought what if I could make this kind of talent and tool accessible to the masses. An illustrator at heart I am also a professional graphic designer as well with over 24 years of experience working with companies like FedEx, Microsoft, Warner Brothers, and many more. With a love for all things automotive I actually got my start in design drawing pictures of my dream cars while my teachers were trying to teach me algebra or english in school. I am sure I drove many of my teachers crazy but my passion later turned into a career in design. Having worked for many notable design studios and clients throughout the years such as Microsoft, FedEx, Warner Brothers, and many more I have the ability and get paid to take concepts to reality. With broad experience in brand development it only made sense to bring my passion, experience, and talent to you. Drawing and concepting cars and trucks is my true love. With the help of the Internet, I hope I can help you realize your automotive dreams through an efficient and as simplified a process as I could make it. Sure, I enjoy designing logos, brochures, catalogs, websites and all things design (by all means check out my other website thebrandnavigator.com), my true passion lies in illustrating custom cars and trucks. Let me help you take concept to reality.

More about me: I am an early 50's Chevy guy. I currently own a 1954 Chevy pickup that has been in my family since I was 5 years of age. It was my Dad's daily driver. Like every other hot rodder out there I too have aspirations for my truck and is the biggest reason why you see so many early 50's Chevy trucks throughout this website (trying to inspire my own dream vehicle). I have personally owned a 1953 Chevy pickup, a 1953 Chevy panel truck and now a 1954 Chevy pickup. This truck has a small block 350, turbo 700R4 automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering, and is fun to drive. With the days being over 110 degrees in the summer, this truck does not see a lot of action in the summer time.
